Our laughter workshops are a fantastic success. To allow laughter to be your medicine you need to take regular doses - so we, of course, hold them regularly - laughter....

.... most people would agree that you can't beat a good laugh.  Laughing is definately good for you.  It's good for your psyche, your health and well-being and your emotions.  Laughter workshops are not about telling jokes but are about developing the skills you need to laugh at will and to encourage you to laugh at life and it's little ups and downs.

Rest assured you will not be laughing for the whole time.

The benefits of laughter

Great for relieving stress - lowers the level of cortisol which is high when stressed, preventing the body from carrying out its normal functions.

  • Can reduce high blood pressure and help with depression.
  • Is a great work out for the muscles - tones the tummy, face and internal organs.
  • Improves respiration and circulation - good for asthma sufferers.
  • Stimulates the immune system,  helping to fight disease and keep us healthy. Increases production of endorphins which give us the 'feel good factor'. Positive, uplifting and gives confidence.
  • Socially bonding, improving personal relationships at home and at work
  • Great way to enjoy yourself with friends - really good FUN.

Suitable for all age groups.
